Additions and renovations, including a complete reframing of the roof, to a single-family house which had been added on to past the point of reason. The old floorplan was full of oddities, and poorly used spaces, as well as featuring some leaky spots in the roof.
The new plan adds a bedroom, laundry room and front hall. By selectively moving walls and closets, a much more useable living space is carved out, with high ceilings. Re-framing the roof allows for useful attic space, as well as new cathedral ceilings in the Master Bedroom.
