A complete gutting of an outdated kitchen in an otherwise beautifully intact classic West LA house. The kitchen had suffered earthquake damage, and had a very inefficient plan.
To create the new kitchen, basement access stairs were relocated and the dividing wall to the breakfast area was removed. This allowed the breakfast bar so that the family with three boys can keep order.
The new kitchen reflects the classic detailing throughout the propert & re-uses several of the original lighting & tile details. Updated fixtures, glass tile & concrete countertops finish off the new custom cabinetry & refinished original flooring.
