83rd street kitchen:

This kitchen had to be renovated on a very tight budget & schedule. Fortunately, demolition was minor as only one pony wall was removed. 15 sketch plans were reviewed and then the cabinetry was ordered. Desiring an open feel and plenty of light, at first there were no upper cabinets at all. The need for additional storage led to installing the frosted glass uppers.
All appliances are GE Profile. The woods are sustainably harvested, even the flooring is post-consumer recycled plywood. Butcher-block countertops keep the warm feel and are easy to clean. A small pantry houses the built-in microwave oven.
