The owner was interested in a relaxing, low maintenance patio for laying out, and having good times with friends. We removed her old grass and some scaggly plants to build this modern, orthogonal and drought tolerant garden.
Featuring built-in benches and planter made from Trex (a recycled content wood-substitute), a new slate patio and moveable seating; this garden accomodates one person for lounging, or a gathering of friends around the wood burning fire pit.
Highlighted at night with low-voltage lighting, and featuring drip irrigation, this yard should be about as eco-friendly as it gets!
