A corner lot full of diseased plants an lawn, mostly used by loiterers at the adjacent bus-stop. We created a low privacy wall to clearly define the property edges, the castelated shape keeping it a bit soft, and accomodating a subterranean city control box.
Planting is carefully designed to provide privacy without blocking all views. The corner features two species of weeping plants, at different heights. In front of the main entry are a few taller specimens, to create a walkway to the door. On the main busy street a small refuge has been carved out that will grow into a hedge and allow the homeowners to open the side window that's been closed since they moved in.
Planting is all drought tolerant and drip irrigated. Gravel and Edging Boards are 100% recycled material. All drip-irrigated and feature super-efficient LED lighting!
